  • Added links on the sidebar to the EQMac.com forums and AllaKabor. I don't know why I didn't do this sooner.
  • I've stopped work on the wiki profile system altogether, as AllaKabor's system is much better. Go check it out, if you already haven't.

  • I've expanded the spell scroll code in the item template to include song scrolls. Again, note that any item template update will take days to fully propagate throughout the wiki. (Thanks to Byaga for the song import.)

  • Did a few updates to the profile.
    • Fixed a bug where item stats were not adding correctly.
    • Changed the mouseover fade effect to suck less.
    • If an item does not have a graphic uploaded it will now still properly display the link to the item.
    • If an item is entered but the page for the item does not exist, a red X will show up in the slot.
  • I still have a lot of work to do (need to incorporate AA's, skills, bags, etc.). It's a good start though for now.

  • Small item template fix: Focus Effects are now linked like normal effects are.
  • I removed the three categories that I added on December 15th and changed the item template to automatically add the properties HealthRegeneration, ManaRegeneration, and Attack. This was kind of tricky to do, but now you can search for those things just like any other stat. Again, note that any item template update that I do will take days to fully propagate to all of the items on the wiki.
  • I've been putting a ton of hours into getting the wiki character-profile working, which is something I wasn't sure was even possible. I've had some breakthroughs recently and have a pretty good working beta; see my user page. I've been wanting to do this for a while, as it is currently impossible for new EQ Mac players to create a new Magelo profile, due to the site requiring you to use their PC-only software to sync your character. Help me test the system by creating your own profile; see Template:Profile for details. If someone could help me with the AC and ATK formulas that would be great, because with that stuff I have no idea what I am doing. =p I'm pretty excited about all this; not only are the profiles pretty cool, but I can easily set up server-wide rankings with sortable tables for each class or, for example, the ability to search for the person with the most charisma, lol.

  • Per request, I've added Category:Regeneration Items, Category:Mana Regeneration Items, and Category:Attack Items; the item template should automatically put items in the respective categories. Now people can easily search for these things. Note that as with any item template modification (post Zenum's import), it can take days for it to propagate to all of the items in the wiki.

  • I want to outline a few of the wiki's better pages in order to spotlight them to those who may not know of their existance. Don't hesitate to add your knowledge!
    • The Plane of Knowledge page is both extremely detailed and useful. Some of the EQAtlas entries are wrong for our server, but everything on this page is spot on. Thanks to Byaga for this.
    • Spell research is one of the elements in which our server is drastically different from the PC side. Our Spell Research pages are far from complete, but thanks to Byaga we have a great start.
    • I fleshed out the Languages page a lot today. Please review it and update accordingly. Ah, now if only all pages on the wiki were this detailed! I can always dream. ;)
  • Christmas time is here so there probably won't be much happening around the site for a while. Happy holidays!

  • On the big item import, all of the Vengeance items were incorrectly labeled as having "Vengence". I've gone ahead and fixed this for all of the items.

• Looking for someone to write up some tradeskill guides for the "best" way to go from 1-250.
• Need to fill in the locations for all existing merchants, especially in PoK.
